VOLUNTARY SERVICES AGREEMENT
The Voluntary Services Agreement requires mutual understanding between the Applicant and Pariwartan. The agreement includes the terms & conditions that are directly related to the Safety, Health, and Legal, Environmental, Political, Cultural and Religious Customs & Conditions of the place where the voluntary services shall be undertaken. The Applicant must read these terms & conditions carefully and must abide by them- Before and During the DOER Voluntary Services Program.
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

The applicant interested in rendering his/her voluntary services shall duly fill in the Voluntary Services Application Form with the requisite information and two references with respective addresses & phone numbers.

The applicant shall be respectful and must display an ethical and considerate behaviour towards the local communities as well as the environment.

The applicants, before the commencement of the voluntary services, shall produce a Medical Fitness Certificate from a competent authority.

The applicants shall not cause any harm in any form to the people, property or assets belonging to the organization, communities or to the government during the Voluntary Services Program.

It is the applicants’ responsibility to ensure that they are fit to travel and to undertake any assignments. All travels before, during and after the program shall be at the applicant’s own risk.

The applicants may be asked to undergo a brief orientation after signing-up the Voluntary Services Agreement in connection with the voluntary work assigned to them by the organization.

In case of overseas volunteers, it is the responsibility of the applicants to ensure that they have a valid passport and obtain appropriate documentation for entry to the hosting country.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to obtain appropriate insurance to cover any eventuality that may occur throughout the Voluntary Services Program (including repatriation, loss of property or personal injury or illness).

The applicants shall agree to remain flexible in terms of the hours required to work during the placement and the duties they are expected to perform.

PARIWARTAN reserves the right to make any change in the services for any reasons. The changes however will be minor and if a significant change needs to be made, the applicant will be informed as soon as possible about the necessary changes prior to their joining the voluntary services program.

PARIWARTAN shall not be responsible for any delay in or failure of the Voluntary Services Agreement due to causes "beyond our reasonable control" i.e. strike of a natural or manmade disaster, governmental regulations, legal restrictions, failure of transportation, or such other causes.
TERMINATION OF VOLUNTARY SERVICES AGREEMENT
It shall be at the sole discretion of PARIWARTAN to terminate the Voluntary Services Agreement of any volunteer if PARIWARTAN realizes that the information provided by the volunteers is false or the volunteer violates the spirit of the terms. Further, the applicant/volunteer shall agree that PARIWARTAN shall not be liable to him/her or to any other party for the termination of the agreement.
