SEPTEMBER Sunday 13th: MISSIONS FAIR. Come by our Youth Table for info and dates and to sign up for popcorn making for the Yard Sale. OCTOBER Saturday 3rd: Volunteers needed to MAKE POPCORN for the Yard Sale. The Sale goes from 9-2, so people can sign up to work the whole day or just for a few hours. Please let us know when you can work by sending us an E-MAIL! Sunday 4th: OVERLOOK FARMS Youth-sponsored bus trip to Heifer Farm to learn about their mission around the world. Enjoy walking through the "Mission World" with houses, decorations and interpretors ready to explain how people in that area live. Also meet the different kinds of animals that Heifer raises. 12:30-3:30. Pick-up from the church and rides home provided. This event is FREE but you need a PERMISSION SLIP. Sunday 25th 12:30-3:00: CROP WALK We'll order pizza for lunch and then drive to Trinity Lutheran to join in raising funds for food banks and relief efforts around the world, as well as raise local awareness of hunger needs. Help us by getting pledges! Rides Home provided by youth leaders. NOVEMBER Date TBA: LEAF RAKING at Pastor Vicki's Date TBA: ICE SKATING DECEMBER NOVEMBER 20th: ICE SKATING Meet at the church at 7:30. Bring $10 and a friend! We will be back at 10 pm. You need a permission slip also! DECEMBER Sunday 13th: Meeting after church with the young families and young adult groups to make Christmas ornaments for shut-ins and T-shirts for First Night. Sunday 20th: Christmas Caroling! We'll go directly after church. Brett will lead us in carols for the shut-ins of Wesley. Thursday 31st: FIRST NIGHT Raise money for the Youth Group by selling candy and popcorn during First Night Worcester. Wear your beautiful home-made t-shirts. Enjoy the entertainment at Wesley and the show we will go see as a group at Mechanics Hall. Eat tasty food made by the folks in the kitchen. Serve the community and start the New Year off right! |
