available in your appointment email and on request How Iong does a grooming appointment take?This depends on the size of your dog, its coat type, mats, how often it is groomed and its temperament. For a full groom this is usually anywhere between 1 - 3 hours. If you visit us we may secure your dog in a cage between stages of their groom of if they are irritable, matted or too stressed. For both Studio and Mobile, we reserve the right to cease grooming your dog if to carry on would affect their welfare. Dogs with poor skin are bathed in Quistel bio restoring formula that has to remain on their skin for up to 15 minutes, this may also be repeated. So please be patient with us. This treatment will increase the price of your groom. Your dog may need to be with us longer than usual. When they are ready we call you. We are happy to receive calls checking up on how you dog is doing but please keep this to a minimum. Please do not be offended if we do not answer the phone. Interruptions make the grooming process longer. Also if it is unsafe for us to leave a dog on a table or in the bath to answer the phone, we will not leave the dog to answer the phone. Finally, the grooming studio can be a noisy place with dogs and equipment so we do not always hear the phone. When I phone, no-one answers - Why?Please do not be offended if we do not answer the
phone. We do endevour to answer the phone when possible. Interruptions

Please always leave a message. We listen to the messages when its
appropriate. If you have left a message requesting an appointment, we
will get back to you as soon as we can. This can often be at the end of
the day when we have finished our clients or the next morning. We do
listen to the messages as soon as we are able to and if we have
appointments on the day you have called we will call you back asap to
invite you along. Can I stay with my dog while they are groomed?Unfortunately we request that your dog is left alone with the groomer. This is because your presence can make the dog mis-behave and in most cases, our expert handling reassures and calms your dog. As well as this room is limited. How often should my dog be groomed?Depending on breed, size, coat type and general hygiene your dog should be professionally groomed somewhere between every 4 - 12 weeks. Curly coated breeds such as Bichon Frise and Poodles should be professionally groomed every 4 - 6 weeks. Between appointments you should be carrying out daily or weekly (depending on breed) home grooming for maintenance. If you are unsure how to groom at home or if our groomer identifies problems, you will be advised on a home grooming regime. How much does it cost to have my dog groomed?Price depends on a combination of the size of your dog,
its coat type, its coat state, any matting, how often it is groomed, when it was last professionally groomed and its temperament (or how well
it co-operates with being groomed). We will give you a price by phone
or email which is for a regularly groomed dog of your breed, however our groomer will have a
consultation with you to discuss the finer points and to make an initial assessment. The final price will be determined when the groom has been completed and will only change if any of the aforementioned conditions apply. Do you provide a mobile service?Yes!!- You can still come to us, or for your ultimate convenience we can come to you. Our mobile studio-van is specially constructed and
fully equipped. If you require our mobile service, please request a copy of our T&C to ensure you can fulfill our Mobile visit requirements. Do you have any price discounts?Yes!! Multi dog homes can usually expect a discount as long as the dogs qualify for our regularly groomed current fee. Please remember that dogs that are more work (please see 'How much does it cost........' ) do not qualify for discounts. You can also purchase one of our membership packages which entitles you to great discounts. If you pay in advance for your grooms, you will receive a discount (refunds will not be made for cancellations or appointment changes). Woof Wash often runs special offers so please keep coming back to our website to check. Offers and discounts cannot be used in conjunction with each other and only one per household per visit. What kind of shampoo do you use?All shampoos, conditioners and products used are especially formulated for a dogs coat and skin PH. Particular coat and skin conditions can be treated for where necessary with bio restoring organic Quistel shampoo which can be used in place of Vet prescribed medicated shampoos.
