About The Mirror’s Image

The Mirror’s Image Custom Etching and Framing, L.L.C. is a unique shop specializing in the custom etching of portraits and other images onto glass mirrors.  The stunning end result is a unique way to remember weddings, anniversaries, graduations, remembrances, or any occasion, person, place or thing with class.  Virtually any photograph can be adapted for etching, making the possibilities endless. 

 

The business was organized on June 1st of 2007 and opened its doors on July 7th of 2007 at 229 Spruce Street in the heart of historic downtown Morgantown West Virginia. It is owned and operated by Robert L. Haining. Prior to acquisition by The Mirror’s Image, a small custom framing business was located at this location, making an ideal marriage between custom etching and custom picture framing.  As such, one of our primary services is picture framing, for which we offer highly competitive rates and outstanding craftsmanship.  Come see our gallery for several examples of our work.

 

 

Getting there and Parking

Substantial parking is available in city-owned metered lots on Spruce Street. The most convenient is at the corner of Pleasant and Spruce (see map).  Stay in the right hand lane on Pleasant, either on your way up the hill from the Westover Bridge, or around the corner coming from High Street. This lot is on the right hand side just before the turn onto Spruce.  Take care as Spruce Street is one-way in the opposite direction as the turn into this lot.  If you miss this lot, parking is available further up Spruce on the right hand side across from the public library.

Hours of operation

The gallery and custom etching and framing consultations are open on a walk-in basis at minimum from Monday through Saturdays, 11 AM to 5 PM.  In addition, appointments are available before and after normal shop hours, between 7 and 11 AM or 5-9 PM. Pickups and deliveries are available for a small fee or gratis for those in need.
