Welcome Back Woodsville fbla! Welcome back to school! Meetings for this year have not yet been set, but keep updated to find out when they will be taking place. It is important to attend, even if it is not yet conference time. We may be discussing officers, fundraisers, socials, and other fun activities. You do not want to miss out on all of these opportunities. There is a meeting after school on Thursday the 17th. We have a lot going on in the first few weeks: FALL FROLIC has been bumped up to September 14, 2009. Every year we have had a successful bake sale that raises quite a bit of money. This year we do not want to miss out. Be sure to bring in cookies, brownies, soda, and other edible items. This money goes back to you. It will pay for your conferences and, Seniors, you may get a scholarship out of it. DUES must be in by October 15, 2009. They are twenty dollars ($20) per person. This will cover the local, state, and national levels. Be sure to get them in if you plan on attending the FBLA Fall Leadership Workshop. WALK-A-HIKE-A-THON has taken on a change this year. It will be moved to Franconia Notch State Park in Franconia, NH. All proceeds will again benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Hampshire. Grab your contribution form in Room 3 or click here to visit the event website. Cole Rushford is available for details. NH FBLA FALL LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP will be held on October 22, 2009. The fee to attend this year will be $25.00. For those of you who haven't attended in the past, this is an all day trip to Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH. This covers a breakfast (if you arrive early), a professional speaker, a workshop with the college division of FBLA, lunch, and a FBLA shirt (design has yet to be decided).
