The Woodside One Wheelers started in the fall of 2006 with 3 students performing juggling and stilt walking skills at Williams Cone School in Topsham. Soon after, 30 students started practicing unicycles, juggling, circus balls, and other circus arts skills. During the first season eight students performed on unicycles and performed at Woodside, the Bath YMCA, and returned to Williams Cone School. During the second year the group grew to around 40 and featured our first parade performance and out of district performance in Turner. Year 3 the Woodside One Wheelers expanded to include 3 grade students and also saw a return to the Memorial Day Parade and a halftime show at Mt. Ararat High School. During our fourth season, the Woodside One Wheelers have grown to 70 members and have performed at the new NBA-D Leagues Maine Red Claws Game and at the 2010 National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in Washington, DC.
Currently we have grown to approx. 95 members including 55+ unicycle riders and 35 giraffe riders. Performances included a return to the Maine Red Claws and the Sparkle Parade in Freeport.
