- Children’s Sunday School (Sundays, 9:30 AM)
 Our day begins with a “Children’s Moment” in the Sanctuary at 9:30 worship. Then, we head downstairs to the Kids Commons, where children age 2 through grade 5 are invited to join us for fun learning experiences. Whether it’s Blessed Beginnings (for the 2's and 3's), Godly Play (for the 4's, 5's, and Kindergartners), or ChristQuest (for the 1st-5th graders), we use hands-on lessons to teach budding Christians great stories in the Bible and how to build relationships with others and with God.
Following Sunday School, we invite families to hang out for fellowship, donuts, and coffee in the Kids Commons.
- Children’s Church (Sundays, 11:00 AM)
- Children ages 4 through 3rd grade learn about worship in an age-appropriate setting modeled after “Big Church,” featuring prayer, scripture, lighting of the Christ Candle, and a 'feast.' The hour also includes fun Bible-themed crafts and activities. Children may sit with their parents at the beginning of the 11:00 service and leave for Children's Church following the scripture reading (pick up is following the service in Room 143).
- 4th and 5th graders are invited to join us for the hour-long "Disciples Class" prep course to prepare them for their baptism (in the Kids Commons at 11:00; in worship the whole hour once a month).
- Contemporary Worship (Sundays, 5:45 PM)
During The Bridge each week, the live music, computer effects, and interactive activities are a good way to keep children captivated -- let the whole family worship together! During Communion at The Bridge, there is a special blessing given for each child. There are also children's activity packets to help them understand the message. The nursery is open during The Bridge for babies and younger children (age for the nursery is up to the family's discretion).
- Children’s and Cherub Choirs (Practices Sundays during 9:30 Sunday School hour)
Children are invited to join the Cherub Choir (3 years through Kindergarten) or Children’s Choir (1st-5th grade). We practice each Sunday morning during a portion of the 9:30 Sunday School hour. The choirs perform several times during the year in worship and for community groups.
- JYF / Five Star Dinners (Wednesday evenings)
Junior Youth Fellowship (for ages 4-grade 5) meets Wednesdays at 6:15 during Adult Education classes. JYF follows our popular “Five Star Dinners,” informal and catered dinners held in Woodmont’s Fellowship Hall. Dinner is available starting at 5:45 PM and draws many young families! During JYF, children work on crafts, community service projects, and more, while parents attend one of our Wednesday evening classes or simply fellowship with each other.
Parent “Nights Out” occur periodically with free childcare provided. Each event welcomes new participants at any time for food, fun, fellowship and support. Also, a “Families Email List” keeps everyone informed about everything going on at Woodmont.
