Below are a variety of puzzles for the early puzzler ranging from peg puzzles to 50 piece interlocking Floor Puzzles. The manufacturers are Robert Longstaff (made near Oxford) and George Luck (originally made in Britain but now made in the far East).
Peg puzzles are an excellent way of making it easier for the toddler to pick up and grip the pieces. The peg puzzles have different levels of difficulty - the simplest form involves matching the pictures on the puzzle itself, the next stage involves matching shapes and seeing what is revealed behind the jigsaw piece and finally the whole central picture is removed to reveal a picture full of interest and topics for educating the youngster.
