We meet every Sunday at 10.30am at Gors Community Primary School. We have a relaxed and contemporary style to our church gatherings (traditionally known as services). They're all-age meetings, with children and young people usually leaving part-way through for their own acitivities. Some people like to dress smart to come to our gatherings and others come straight out of bed! We usually plan for someone to speak on a particular theme for 20 - 40 minutes. There's often chance for anyone to contribute to our gatherings, by praying, reading something from the Bible or just sharing what's on their mind. We use guitars, keyboards, drums and voice to lead worship songs. On the first Sunday of every month we have communion (bread & wine) together and we sometimes do this on other Sundays too.
Our gatherings usually finish anytime between 11.30am and 12.30pm and most people hang around afterwards for Fairtrade refreshments! |
