Streetwise does not run when the school is closed. The Streetwise club is for children in school years 3 to 6 and it's free! If you want to know more, please contact us. There are over 40 kids on the Streetwise register!
So what happens at Streetwise?
Lots of games and fun activities, quizzes and competitions, sports, music, dance and more. It partly depends on the children who come as we'll make sure they have a big say in what happens!
Children will have free refreshments during the session. Children will earn points on club nights and can trade these for sweets or gifts on the last session of the half-term at the Streetwise shop - they can also spend a money at the Streetwise shop but Woodlands Church will not make any profit!
The club is run by the church so it has a Christian ethos. The health and safety of children is very important to us and we have a strict child protection policy in the church, making sure that those who work with children pass an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check.
Here's two of the main leaders at Streetwise:
   All children who come to Streetwise must be registered with us - an adult must come with them the first time and complete a registration form.
