CELEBRATING WOMEN AND GIRLS
November 25 to December 10, 2008
16 days of Activism to to pay honor and attention to
International Day for the Elimination of Violence towards Women and Girls.
KICK OFF CEREMONY
Community leaders, Healers, activists and elected officials will gather at a press conference to acknowledge the need to remember that every woman in the world has the innate right to be treated with respect, dignity and love.

WOMEN’S WISDOM WALK
Civic Center Plaza
Following the Proclamaiton press conference, Wise Women will lead a ceremonial walk to Civic Center Plaza. The act is a spiral dance, a healing of victimhood, a clearing of past conditioning, a communion with the feminine for women and men of all ages, colors, and walks of life. Together, we can plant the seed of a new vision of transformation for our culture.
