My art makes a personal statement on the uniqueness and overpowering beauty of cactus, rock, petroglyphs, adobe buildings and the shapes they represent, rendering details as if they were contemporary icons.  I examine fragments and focus closely on the environment, subtracting the unnecessary in order to create a simple expressive visual statement.  The end result is a blending of the abstract with reality.
