May 19, 2010:  Saturday, June 5, is National Trails Day.  Here is an opportunity for WCWC members to contribute to the great trail network that we have here in the Pagosa area.  The Pagosa Area Trails Council (PATC) and the Four Corners Back Country Horsemen (4CBCH) are organizing a trail-work day on the Devil Mountain Trail (DMT).   Please join the PATC/4CBCH on Saturday, June 5, to work on the DMT.  We will meet at Nello's at 8 AM, and truck-pool to the work area.  It is about an hour drive to the work area, and high-clearance vehicles are needed.  Bring your own lunch and drinks, and work clothes and gloves.  The PATC will provide tools.  When our work day ends, those who wish to do so will congregate at the Applegate Hut (an Aid Station in the Devil Mountain Ultras) near the DMT for some refreshments before driving back to Pagosa.

March 30, 2010:  Tuesday evening group rides for WCWC members begin.  Meet at Pedal and Powder bike shop at 5:30 p.m. for a one to two hour ride.  Speed and distance the choice of the riders.  Three laps of a South Pagosa-Meadows Drive-Hwy 160 loop is the longest option.  First lap will be slower and all will ride together.

March 25, 2010:  Sunday road-bike group rides for WCWC members have begun and will continue through the spring.  Meet at noon at the intersection of Hwy 160 and Hwy 151 (Chimney Rock turn off) to ride south on Hwy 151.   Riders can go as far and as fast as they want.  Most will go as far as Navajo Lake before turning back.
