Women of Note perform at charity concerts, summer fêtes, private parties, fund-raising events, corporate events, etc. The group has been featured on BBC Radio Oxford and BBC South Today, as well as winning the ensemble class at the Oxford Music Festival. "Just wanted to say huge congrats to YOU ALL for a first rate 'busk' in the Abbey this afternoon. Just delightful. I thought it was a great programme; well chosen, slick and sung with conviction, style and panache. Altogether a most polished and professional performance and your blend, balance and intonation would put many 'big names' to shame! Thanks for giving us all a real afternoon treat and WELL DONE!" - Adrian Boorman - "Musical Banquet really enjoyed Monday's WoN concert. The ensemble and blend were really very impressive: you were all really enjoying yourselves. A class act!" - Malcolm Pearce of Musical Banquet - "...Try as I might, I just couldn't stop tapping my feet..." - audience member - |
