ABOUT US
| About WOAA-Milwaukee The Wisconsin Organization for Asian Americans-Milwaukee (WOAA-Milwaukee) is a not-for-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to raising public awareness of Asian and Asian-American cultures and contributions. Our membership includes a wide range of organizations and individuals from, or supportive of, Wisconsin’s Asian ethnic communities. Initially formed in September 1992 by a group of visionary community advocates, the organization was incorporated in April 1994. Since that time, WOAA-Milwaukee has served as a clearinghouse for information and resources benefiting the area’s Asian ethnic communities and partners. One of the principal activities of WOAA-Milwaukee is planning and coordinating Asian Moon Festival. Becoming a WOAA-Milwaukee Member A growing number of committed community-based organizations, businesses, and individuals are joining WOAA-Milwaukee and supporting its mission of greater cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.
