Some say it's like working at a buggy factory when the Model T comes out, but I'm still a student/journalist at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where I study journalism and English between writing stories, producing multimedia and blogging.

I have worked at The Massachusetts Daily Collegian, New England's largest collegiate daily, for three years  covering campus crime, riots, an all-student strike, Hobo rallies and anything else a college town and its citizens can dream up. While at the Collegian, I worked several newspaper internships. At the Daily Hamphire Gazette, I covered hard news, feature and business stories. After my internship at  The Herald News, I was offered their weekly column on the region's automobile industry. I spent this past summer on Nantucket lifeguarding and freelance writing when not enjoying the scenery of an island on which so many strive to wind up.

Nowadays, I spent my time running the Collegian's news section and stringing for The Boston Globe. Check out my blog for commentary on local, national, and international events. There, I publish my latest articles and other writings too.
