I am a third year graduate student at George Mason University in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. My research interests center around family processes related to both psychological well-being and psychopathology. My advisor (Jerome Short, Ph.D.) and I are collaborating on several projects to investigate the impact of parental divorce and remarriage on children and family functioning. I am also involved in Dr. Christianne Esposito-Smythers' research lab, where I help facilitate a preventative program targeting alcohol and other drug abuse/dependence, suicide risk behavior, and HIV risk behavior for adolescents receiving community mental health treatment. In addition, I provide comprehensive assessments, mental health evaluations, and individual, family and group therapy the GMU Center for Psychological Services. |
