TenderProject Development and ManagementThe Wiveliscombe Town Hall Trust was formed in 2006 to bring forward the restoration and community use of the disused nineteenth century town hall in the centre of Wiveliscombe, Somerset. Following completion of an options analysis the Trustees now wish to appoint a project manager to take the project forward through: negotiations with the current owners; working with our architects on the design; major fundraising including applications to HLF and others; community involvement; and business planning for arts, cultural and community uses. Tenders are invited from suitably experienced individuals who can demonstrate the necessary skills and track record in developing and delivering heritage restoration projects with an arts focus. Funding for this contract, totalling £10,000, has been secured until March 2009. Decisions on further funding to continue the work thereafter are pending. The tender timescale is short due to the requirements of our funders.
