WELCOME TO THE WISEBURN MUSIC PROGRAM WEBSITE!
 Here you will find resources and information for students and parents of the Wiseburn music program. The musical offerings for the 2009-2010 school year are: Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Band at Dana Middle School, Elementary Band for 4th and 5th grade Burnett and Anza students, and Show Choir for Wiseburn students in grades 4 through 8.

News and Announcements: October 16, 2009 Elementary Band and Show Choir Schedule updates: *There will be no after school rehearsal for Elementary Band on Tuesday, October 27th. *Morning elementary band lessons are cancelled for Thursday, October 29th and Friday October 30th. (Anza Trumpets, Trombones, and 2nd year students; Burnett Percussion and Trombones) *There will be no rehearsal for Show Choir on Thursday, October 29th. October 3, 2009 The dates for the Winter Concerts have been set! Please mark your calendars accordingly: Tuesday, January 26, 2010 Jazz Band and Show Choir 7:00 PM in Dana MPR Thursday, January 28, 2010 Elementary Band, Concert Band & Symphonic Band 7:00 PM in Dana MPR October 1, 2009 Dear Show Choir Parents, As a result of the overwhelming response to our Show Choir program, we have decided to create two sections, one for elementary students and one for middle school students. The middle school show choir will rehearse from 3:00-3:50 every Thursday beginning next week, October 8. The elementary show choir will rehearse from 4:00-4:50 every Thursday beginning next week, October 8. The show choirs will both perform on the scheduled concert, January 26th. All students who have submitted a registration form will be welcomed to participate. My personal philosophy of music is grounded in the idea that all students have the opportunity to participate in music. I believe that this new format will allow for the most rewarding experience for all involved and will better accommodate differences in vocal development.
