Students in grade 5 participated in the Annual Library Treasure Hunt. This hunt is based on what the students have learned over the course of the school year in the library with regards to research skills. We are proud to say that all students completed the hunt successfully and were awarded a small consolation prize. All students received water-proof dolphins which are great to store money, chap stick, or jewelry when at the beach, park or anywhere. The students were very excited to receive these.
All library books are due back beginning Monday, July 7th. Please check in your classrooms, desks, shelves, backpacks, as well as in your homes, bookshelves, and under beds for books belonging to the Winthrop School Library.
Even during the month of June, we
continue to add books to the collection to support the teachers’
instruction and to reflect the students' interest. We have quite an extensive collection and are extremely proud of it!
