For the past 14 years we have been blessed to share our music ministry throughout Western New York and elsewhere. We are dedicated to sharing a clear gospel message to those who do not know Christ, while encouraging and nourishing others in their Christian walk. With a nice assortment of music that features a rich blend of vocal harmonies and instrumentation, the music of Wing and Prayer will be enjoyed by everyone.
We will adapt our ministry format to accommodate the specific needs of your concert, fellowship gathering, coffeehouse, or other special event.

Our History ... On a warm day early in the summer of 1995 church friends were enjoying their annual fellowship picnic at the home of one of the church members. The sun was shining, lawn games were being played, food was plentiful, and fellowship conversation filled the air. As evening approached clouds started to roll in and someone noted that they thought they felt a drop of rain. As the rain increased, everyone headed into the house. Someone picked up a guitar and started to play. Others joined in song. All had a great time, despite the weather outside. On that rainy evening, the pastor saw a ministry opportunity and suggested that the two men playing guitars get in touch with another new church member who had a great voice. It is only as the years have passed that we now recognize that God planted a seed that day. Wing and a Prayer was born ! As others began to join the group we often quipped about what to name the band. One night, as we were preparing to play for our evening service we asked the church organist if he’d like to join us. He laughed and replied, “Yeah! On a wing and a prayer”. The rest, as they say, is history. During the past 13 years many people have contributed to Wing and a Prayer as musicians, singers, guests, equipment handlers (roadies), sound guys, audiences, and friends in general. Our families have also been very supportive. For all of them we are eternally thankful ! We have been blessed these past 13 years, growing spiritually, sharing the Lord’s Word, expanding musical horizons, touching hearts and souls, and making new friends. Thank God for rain!
