Our optical measurement facilities are housed in building 25A. Benchtop optical equipment includes a normal-incidence spectrophotometer with integrating sphere and a number of special accessories, a variable-angle spectroscopic ellipsometer, which can also serve as an in-plane bidirectional spectrophotometer, and a spectrophotometer with full bidirectional goniometer. In a specially designed room is a large robotic scanning photogoniometer. The high-bay area contains a 2-meter integrating sphere for visible transmittance measurements. There is also a shop area for fabrication of special sample holders and other equipment modifications. A more detailed description of each instrument can be found by following the links below.
