This is a very important year for Winchester Democrats as we push for change in our local community.  We have the opportunity to elect several Democrats to the Winchester City Council and to finally have a Democrat represent us in the 10th Congressional District.  To make this change happen, we will need your support and an organized committee, with a renewed energy and common purpose.  As Chair of the Winchester Democratic Committee I am asking for your help to achieve these goals!

Please consider joining the WDC.  Your dues will support the many activities of the committee as it represents the Democratic Party in the Winchester area. 

• We hold bi-monthly meetings to provide a forum for the sharing of ideas.
• We recruit and support viable Democratic candidates for upcoming local elections.
• We build relationships with local businesses and non-profits to determine ways in which the Democratic Party can meet their needs.
• We coordinate with local, state, and national Democratic campaigns to provide them with logistical support
• We keep our members and friends, as well as the media, informed of upcoming events and issues of interest.

Also, as with any non-profit organization, we are always eager for volunteers to join us in canvassing, phone banking, staffing events, and distributing materials.  Imagine what we can accomplish if we can renew the interest and involvement inspired during President Obama's 2008 campaign and translate it into support for the 2010 activities of our Democratic Committee.
