The first thing to do was a test model:

I wanted a forest animal look not over evil but dangerous looking. As with most beastmen it had to have warpaint, so I went with a bright pink looking paint next to the V.dark skin colours. My 3rd colour was at this stage the blue Crystals but I later removed this look due to feeling that the bases were over powering the models. The bases were a simple affair of woodland but with the bases upside down to create a look of all the models interconnected.

Once the look was taking shape I needed to assemble the army so I could start playing it or the army would grind to a holt
