How to Donate to Wilshire Park

Wilshire Park Association is a  501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the general welfare of the neighborhood. Our activities include education, outreach, historic preservation and attention to the quality of life for our residents.

The Wilshire Park Association Board of Directors is comprised of fifteen members, four of whom are executives, and a flexible number of alternates who meet quarterly (or more often when necessary) to determine what the Association can do for the neighborhood. In the recent past, the Association successfully spearheaded the HPOZ effort, promoted Block Club meetings for the safety and security of the residents, participated in projects at our local elementary school, Wilshire Park Elementary, and hosted events to help keep all our neighbors connected, including annual meetings and elections of board members, a Community Dinner, a WAHA Home Tour, an annual Halloween celebration and other social events. Wilshire Park Association also maintains an interactive website, distributes a community newsletter, sends representatives to the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council (GWNC) and the Community Police Advisory Board (CPAB), as well as sending representatives to City meetings regarding zoning, transportation and land use.
