More progress has been made on 673 S. Bronson - the replacement windows have been installed, and the house is starting to reveal what it looked like when it was first built. The owner had each original window duplicated in solid wood, a custom milling project that takes a lot of time and skill. New windows on the front facade and throughout. New and old: one of two pairs of newly installed three-light French doors on the first floor of the front facade. To the right is the original, beyond repair. The replacement doors are precise custom reproductions of
the originals, many of which were not salvageable or were completely
missing. |
