Property being sold by a mortgagee in possession of real estate by Power of Sale is interested in recovering money following a default in mortgage payments. The security for the loan was real estate, and the mortgagee is selling the property to recover money. The mortgagee has little or no interest in anything else other than the money.

Consequently a Buyer of this type of property, in my opinion, is advised to use the services of a Realtor and request a Buyer Representation Agreement with a Realtor when making an offer on this type of purchase.
