During my time in high school I learned and experienced many things. Academics aside, I have learned the importance of organization and good communication. Moreover, my experiences in high school have helped me grow and mature as a person. By interacting and working together with others, I have acquired many of the necessary social skills to function adequately in a working environment. Additionally, these skills have helped to shape me as a person; my personality and my self-awareness. Ultimately, my time in high school has well-prepared me for the outside world and the working-class environment. One of my more fond memories is when I had learned that the ESHS Band made it to championships. It was at this moment that I was truly proud to be part of the ESHS Band. Generally speaking, I was always proud of the band, but this was a rare moment of great triumph and achievement. Looking back, I greatly appreciate and cherish the 4 years I spent in the ESHS Band. During my time in high school I have had many interesting classes that have exceeded my preconceived expectations. World History, U.S. History, Political Behavior, and AP Composition are all classes in which the teachers would go far beyond the standard curriculum to provide a more in-depth perspective of the world and the subject. In all these classes I experienced many different sides of politics firsthand. Whether I agreed or disagreed with a side or opinion wasn't important, it was an experience. In AP Composition specifically, I learned about the philosophy of truth and learned important skills to know in the workplace and in life. |
