Nick Wilgus is the author of the Father Ananda murder-mystery series: Mindfulness and M urder, Garden of Hell and Killer Karma (Silkworm Books). Under the pseudonym Sulayman X, he is the author of the Lambda-nominated Bilal's Bread and Adventures of a Birdshit Foreigner (Alyson Books), Tears of a Dragon (DreamSpinner Press) and One Night in Bangkok: The Short Stories (Smashwords). His works have been translated into French, German, Italian and Spanish. Wilgus wrote the script for Mindfulness and Murder (Sop-mai-ngeap), which won three awards on the international film festival circuit. He also edited Keeping the Faith: Thai Buddhism at the Crossro ads by Thai journalist and Buddhist scholar Sanitsuda Eckachai, and Now and Zen by international artist Boaz Zippor. Wilgus is the author of the play Angels We Have Heard. He was also one of the winners in the ScriptFrenzy.org competition in April, 2011. The challenge was to write a 100-page script in 30 days. Wilgus wrote the script for Killer Karma. He sold his first short story, The Boogeyman in the Closet, to The Horror Show magazine when he was 17.
