Sights - Pacific Coast Highway / Highway 1, Avenue of the Giants.

Today would be the start of a 2.5 day ride down the Pacific Coast Highway down past San Francisco.

We would see more Police activity on the road today than we had seen for the previous 6 days riding.  They were pulling over cars in front and behind us for speeding, but left us alone, because as usual we were being law abiding citizens.

PCH / Highway 1.  What a great ride.

Uncle Phil had booked a boat trip for today..................but it looks like this had also gone out of business since he booked it :-).

Whale Rock.

Some of the ride today along the twisty road following the coast would remind me of Scottish B roads....but with sunshine.

Avenue of the Giants is a forest of very large Redwood trees.  It is a sureal ride through as the trees block out most of the natural light and give a feeling of riding through a Cathedral.
