Where the runners of the University of Arizona come together!
INFORMATION The WRC is perfect for runners of all levels - for those who want to get into running or for those who have been running for years. We meet 5-6 days a week and go student-lead runs around campus anywhere from 3 to 20 miles (some of us trained for a marathon last year, so this wasn't too normal). We also have destination runs where we go off campus to run at Sabino Canyon, Saguaro National Forest, and Reid Park. Plus we participate in local road races around the Tucson area. This year we have 2 major events in planning - a training program for the PF Chang's Rock N Roll Marathon & 1/2 Marathon and the Ragnar Relays. On top of all this, we meet outside of running for BBQs, pasta dinners and pizza parties. If you are at all interested or have anymore questions, email me (Elyssa Metas-club president) at elyssam@email.arizona.edu.
