On this site you will find all the resources needed to make and use this fantastic wireless tool in your classroom. A big thank you to Graduate PhD student and researcher Johnny Chung Lee at Carnegie Mellon University. From his efforts and willingness to share we (wii) all benefit. Also thanks to Boon Jin Goh from Singapore who just this June updated Johnny Lee's code that smooths cursor movements and adds the right mouse click to the IR pen. Another great contribution to the wiimote project has been made by Uwe Schmidt. Uwe's software is based on Johnny Lee's original wiimote whiteboard program that is written in C# and available for Windows only. Uwe's program uses Java to allow for (some) platform-independence (Windows, Mac, Linux). Uwe also provides a Mac-only version. I first learned of Johnny's amazing project through Will Richardson's Blog, like Will I was captured not only by the project but also by the open willingness of Johnny Lee to give it to the world.
