The wonderful world of panoramic photography

We see the world in a panoramic format. That’s one of the reasons why panoramic photography is so appealing – it pictures a landscape in the way we actually see it. The cinema caught onto this back in the 1950s with the introduction of CinemaScope, and all the latest televisions have panoramic screens. So why not shoot your pictures in the same way?

This website is dedicated to showing you simple ways to produce panoramic photographs, digitally, with traditional film cameras and with specialised panoramic cameras. It includes four simple techniques. Click on the one that interests you to see examples of the kind of pictures that can be produced and to find out how to produce them.
