Legacy Project

Legacy Project:

At the AIA Women's Leadership Summit September 17-19, 2015, AIA Seattle Women in Design (WID) celebrated distinguished women architects of Seattle and Washington recognized as AIA Fellows, as part of the Legacy Project.

With the support of local and national partners including AIA Diversity and Inclusion, WID filmed women Fellows in advance of and at the Summit, for posting on the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation Women of the Built Environment site.

On August 19, 2015 at Fairmont Olympic Belvedere Room, the Legacy Project team recorded career reflections of N. Sue Alden FAIA, Karen Braitmayer FAIA, Janet Donelson FAIA, Carolyn D. Geise FAIA, L. Jane Hastings FAIA, & Sharon E. Sutton FAIA (shown at left: Alden, Geise, Sutton, Hastings) as part of plans to honor Seattle and Washington women Fellows at the Women's Leadership Summit September 17-19, 2015.
