Born and brought up in Bhopal, studied in Bhilai-Durg and Mumbai, and currently working in Mumbai (having worked in London briefly) - my name is Nikhil.

An Electronics Engineer and MBA, I currently work with IT Advisory practice of KPMG, India in Mumbai. Employed with KPMG since the beginning of my career, I have always been passionate about institutions I have been involved with - whether it is my school, my institute, my company or other networks which I associate with.

Work

With KPMG, I primarily work within the Banking & Financial Services domain but have also worked in areas of Software Services and Telecommunications. My strengths range from IT / Sourcing Strategy, IT Governance, Data Migration, Business Process Re-engineering to IT Application Architecture.

Extra-curricular

Outside professional life, I am an active blogger and enthusiastic participant in circles like barCamp, OpenCoffeeClub etc. I also work on many ‘personal projects’ in areas related to creativity, technology, web2.0 and social responsibility.
Some initiatives which I am associated with include - Arbit Choudhury – World’s First B-school Comic Character, MastishK – India’s first fully online B-school challenge and a web2.0 venture.
