Splash down.....

Great paddle last Monday up the Cockermouth River,  till the water became to shallow to continue. We saw otter and a beaver and lots of turtles lounging in the trees. The water was clear and cool with not so many bugs. After turning around we paddled and floated back down the river and headed out onto Newfound Lake to paddle for a bit in the setting sun. A few brave souls took to the water for a dip in the calm water. What a great paddle with great company, great wildlife and plenty of laughter and fun!
Hope to see you on the water.
Happy Paddles!
