Always consider the advantage of an approach shot rather than a difficult shot directly for the hoop. For longer and medium long shots, try to let the mallet head 'follow through' the strike. You will gain extra distance with less effort. Consider buying your own mallet. While club mallets are good you may not get the same one every time. When you have your own mallet you can get used to it's 'feel' and capabilities. |
