We saw a number of visitors on our taster/open day. Hopefully they felt comfortable with the game and the Club and will want to return. We look forward to their next visits and perhaps joining the Club. The League match at Harwell was a draw. Details on the competition page. The Jubilee Challenge day was great success despite a tiny shower at the end of the day. Jen won, with Peggy a close second. Pat won the 'Plate' competition. Competitions We will be running the doubles and singles competitions throughout the season as shown on the programme. A list was on the Notice Board for you to indicate your wishes to take part. The list is now down and the draw will replace it (as soon as I have done it!). Team organisers also wish to know who wants to take part in League and/or Friendly matches this year. Again lists are on the Notice Board. There will be no 'match fees' payable this year - players just provide hospitality. |
