Started this morning with a bit of a dip and found a dead giant turtle being washed up on the beach. Had a run and then back to hotel where security were wondering why I was attaching cameras to the bonnet of my car. We gotr chatting and he said he has driven to LA in 4 days from cocoa beach in the past and wished me all the best. I then ran over my tripod and went to a local supermarket to see if I could buy a new one. They had free coffee for all customers...what a brilliant idea! Nothing is free in the UK. Arrived at The Kennedy Space Centre for 11am and paid a little extra for the 'up close' tour. I did it because I knew the Shuttle Atlantis was on the pad getting ready for it's launch on the 16th. I saw jumping porpoises, aligators, bald eagles and vultures EVERYWHERE.

Got back to the hotel and am getting really frustrated that I cant find any healthy food to eat. Had 2 bananas for breakfast and they were tasteless and green.

A 5 am start tomorrow morning as I have a 500 miles drive to Tom & Rachels in Georgia...
