• Portsmouth: Black Trumpet, Flatbread.  groceries at Philbrick's.
  
• UNH dairy bar
• UNH organic garden club, various farmer's markets
  
• Wagon Hill Farm is a nice place to walk or sled
  
• the Strand movie theatre in Dover is nice
  
• the nearest Montessori school is Cornerstone in Stratham.  For preschool, UNH CSDC and Growing Places  at Woodside are good.
• Wentworth-Douglass is a great place to have a baby (even better than Lucille-Packard at Stanford!).  Woodbury Family Practice is great and local.
