Galveston/Houston Update

We are pleased to announce that the Carnival Ecstasy and Carnival Conquest will return to Galveston effective with the November 1 and November 2, 2008 departures respectively. All future departures will also operate roundtrip from Galveston. We want to recognize the tremendous efforts of the Port of Galveston and all of the local authorities in making our return to Galveston a reality. Port of Galveston update

OCTOBER 1, 2008 - 10:00 AM

We are closely monitoring the situation in Galveston and the ongoing recovery efforts from the impact of Hurricane Ike. We are now operating all cruises on the Carnival Ecstasy and Carnival Conquest from the new cruise terminal in Houston (the Bayport Cruise Terminal).

At this time, we have not been advised by the Galveston port officials when the cruise terminal will be available. We have communicated to all guests booked on cruises departing through November 1, 2008 that we will operate from Houston. However, we will return to Galveston as soon as the terminal is available and advise all guests as required.

Be advised that this will not affect the cruise departure for October 2009.
