Every student enrolled in Business Education classes at Winfield is eligible for membership in FBLA.  Dues are $10 a year.  FBLA conducts a yearly service project collecting food and paper products for the Weldy Home and The Children's Home in Eldridge.  In the spring, FBLA members have the opportunity to participate in online testing to participate in State competition in various Business Education subjects.  State competition is held in Birmingham in April in conjunction with the State FBLA Convention.

Students enrolled in Business Education classes are expected to follow all rules as outlined in the school's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).  The following rules must be followed:

  • Facebook is not permitted in my class.
  • Respect your computer - at least 4 other students will use your computer everyday.
  • Use your computer time wisely - you will have computer time each day.  Please don't surf the web or play games while Mrs. Guin is instructing.  This will result in loss of free computer time for the entire 6 weeks.
  • You will be held accountable for your actions on the Internet - no inappropriate sites.
