We hope this will provide you with a stopping off point to find out more about our Club, Wollongong, and the Illawarra. Our venue for meetings has disabled access, ample parking, and access to nearby public transport. Feel free to come along!

If you live outside the Illawarra and want to know more about gardening in your area, why not join a Gardening Club. For more information on clubs in your area, go to the Garden Clubs of Australia website or go to our page Other clubs.

The Illawarra has a unique micro-climate that is milder than Sydney. Depending on which part of the Illawarra you live in, you can grow some sub-tropical plants not available to people on the Southern Highlands. In contrast, those living closer to the escarpment can sometimes get colder climate plants to grow. This makes for a diversity of plants and makes gardening in the Illawarra an interesting past-time.
