Welcome to WVHWest Valley Homeschoolers has been helping our homeschooling community since the turn of the century!
We are an extensive and diverse group with something to offer for all ages...
Our weekly parkday is offered on Wednesday in the San Fernando Valley and a "sister" park day is offered Thursday in the near Conejo Valley, and yet another "sister" begins park days in Agoura on September 11th!
WVHomeschoolers helps members keep up with the various activities available to the Los Angeles, California, homeschooling community by sharing information, and serving as a liaison to the wider community as a whole.

WHY Homeschool?
Homeschooling is an increasingly popular choice among parents for many reasons, here are just a few:
- Children's educational and emotional needs are not being served well by schools
- Avoiding social ills and negative peer influences
- Building a stronger family and enjoying more time with children
- Adapting a home study program to best suit their child's needs

WVH is a support group formed for and by homeschooling families, and is Inclusive of all faiths, heritages, and methods of homeschooling.
We hope to find strength in our diversity while mutually respecting the dignity and decisions of others.
WVH offers opportunities for positive socialization, field-trips, classes, park-days and information on the various options available for homeschooling children in California.
