Welcome to The Thundering Tot's Preschool & Child Care Center located within Westlake High School. We are excited to have you participate in the programs offered at our center. We provide services for children from 6 weeks of age to 6 years of age. We hope this website will provide useful information for you related to our centers programs and activities.
The Thundering Tot's Preschool & Child Care Center has been established as a teaching facility for high school students who are interested in child-related careers and those who desire more extensive refinement or parenting skills. Trained and prepared high school students teach the preschool classes and work daily with children in different learning situations. All classes have 1-3 adults supervising them at all times.
Our goal is to provide children with a caring and enriching environment that will encourage their growth and development. We believe that each child is a unique individual. We are sensitive to a child's social, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs. We provide developmentally-appropriate programs that focus on the process of learning and help children enjoy successful experiences. We encourage not just learning, but the love of learning.
Your deposit as well as monthly tuition can be paid at the Financial Office at Westlake High School or online at https://secure.myschoolfees.com/home.aspx. Please send a copy of your receipt to our Centers Director as well. Also note the change in our prices for the 2010-2011 School Year. They are listed on the Price List found below.
If you are interested in enrolling your child in our program for the 2009-2010 school year, please set-up a time to meet with our Center's Director to see if our program is a correct fit for your child. All enrollment papers can be completed at that time to ensure a spot for your child. Please be ready to pay your $50.00 non-refundable deposit that day as well. If you are interested in having your child in our program, please contact our center's director.
We are stating our enrollment for the 2010-2011 School Year for Day Care Services, March 8th-May 14th by appointment only; between the hours of 7:00-7:45 am or 2:30-3:30 pm. Starting May 17th we will be doing enrollment for Day Care Services by appointments only, between the hours of 7:00 am-4:30 pm. We will start our enrollment for our Preschool Only Program after June 1st. Please contact our Center's Director or Day Care Coordinator to set-up a time to meet with us to see if our program is the correct fit for your child. All enrollment papers are to be completed at this time to ensure a spot for your child. Please be ready to pay your $50.00 non-refundable deposit that day as well.
