Lots of great races coming up this Spring!  If you have a favorite, e-mail Coach Anthony so we can get it posted.  Most of the races listed here are ones that have been around for a long time, or are ones that benefit our local Rails-To-Trails trail projects.  Entry blanks and web links will be posted on the "Races" page.

• Tuesday, February 7th 6:30 pm.   The Brooks shoe rep will be at Snap Fitness in Greensburg to talk about how to get fitted for running shoes and the latest Brooks gear.   Call Anthony at #724-708-9786 for more info.
 
 
• March 24th, 10 am, South Park.  Larry Winschel St. Paddy's Run.  A fun GPRRC event: a one mile walk or run, and a 4.34 mile run - that's the distance from the children's playground parking lot out and back to the end or Corrigan Drive where the park starts.

March 31st, 10am - 2012 Meyersdale Maple Festival 5 Mile Run and 5K Walk on the on Allegheny Highlands Trail. Contact race director David Mapes at dmapes@sssd.com for more info.

•  March 31st - 28th ANNUAL COOK FOREST HALF MARATHON & 5K.  Besides the fact this is a long-standing race, here is a really good reason to support it: Proceeds of the race support the Clarion University Track and Field Team and Clarion University Athletic Scholarships!!!!
 
 
• April 7th, 9am - 18th Annual Yough River Trail Races. A wonderful event along the scenic Yough River Trail, flat and fast!! They have a 5K run, a 5K walk, a 10K run and a 10 Mile run. Truly, something for everybody.
