West Campus After-School Program:West Campus After-School Program - The West Campus After-School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (ASSETs) program is designed to be an extension of the regular school day by offering academic enrichment opportunities and supportive services to help students meet state and local standards in core content areas. This state-administered, federally funded program is offered to all students who attend West Campus and is FREE of charge. In addition, all students who attend the program are entitled to a nutritious snack. The program will follow three core principles:**Academic Success **Enrichment that Reinforces and Complements the Academic Program & SCUSD Strategic Plan **Family and Community Inclusion in Academic Development Follow this link to download the registration form. Follow this link to download the program schedule. The after-school program operates from 2:55 - 6:30 p.m. and offers the following services: 1. 7th Period Chemistry & Language Support: a. Chemistry - E. Cummings & S. Mapplebeck b. English - S. Bell, K. Travers & L Bristow 2. Drop-in tutoring on an as needed basis in Library: a. Open library 2:55 - 6:30 p.m. b. Math / Science / English / Spanish / French c. Homework Assistance 3. Enrichment: a. Dance - Hip Hop and Break Dance b. Drama - Theater and musical and performance production c. Green Technology- S. Chang d. Clothing Design - R. Castro
e. Youth Circle Mentoring Program- S. Moua f. People Reaching Out (Elementary School mentoring) - Jenny
All students who participate in the after-school program must have a completed registration form on file. Form more information about the services offered, please contact the Program Manager:
