The Artists @ Wessex Estate collective consists of more than 30 artists from multiple disciplines who reside and/or work in this pastoral former British army base, only minutes away from busy downtown Singapore, and only one degree above the equator.
We are a young art community with no formal rules.
Our mission:
The raison d’être of AWE is to build public awareness of artists, their art, and artistic activities in Wessex Estate, through public exhibitions, workshops, education and training in art, and other art-related experiences.
An Arts Affair @Wessex: February 7-8 2009
Our
first event brought 20 artists - painters, potters, printmakers,
ceramicists, sculptors, and performers - together to introduce the
public to their works.
