A prolific freelance writer for an assortment of business and trade magazines, I've covered the mining industry in Alaska to worldwide Fair Trade organic teas and the Kona Coffee Festival in Hawaii. Also, I've written for my local newspaper and some local consumer magazines. My niches center on small business, U.S. agriculture, and the beverage industry.
Recently, I completed four Ed 2 Go online courses. Through these courses, I learned how to tighten my writing. And, I learned to let go of my high expectations of myself and to just write. Thus, I'm moving forward with my dreams of writing and speaking about home business and parenting, as well as continuing my article writing for business, trade, and regional publications.
I'm an active member of the steering committee of the Lancaster Christian Writers, where I participate in planning meetings, act as treasurer, and lead critique groups. I've also spoken on the writing life and oversee the website at www.lancasterchristian.org.
