The
staff of the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center hosted a volunteer
appreciation dinner on Friday, March 6, 2009 at Jonathon Byrd's
Cafeteria. During the evening the nearly 250 volunteers and staff
enjoyed a wonderful meal, special music and challenging words of
encouragement from several staff members, a former resident of the
detention center who is doing wonderful work now in the community and
the new Superintendent of the MCJDC, Mr. Reed. Volunteers and
volunteer groups were recognized and given service awards for their
faithful work and tremendous impact they are having with our youth. Thank you for all you do! |
